I was teaching my daughter at home for the 11+ exam. Unfortunately, she didn’t get a place in Grantham for two marks only.

Then we realized, she needed a competitive environment and well organized guidelines. Just after joining SLASA she became more focused and target oriented. SLASA helped her a lot for the preparations and she was offered a place in both Nottingham Girls High School and Loughborough High School.

My son has attended weekly classes at SLASA for several months, and has achieved more than expected exam results for his entrance assessment at Nottingham based independent senior schools and was able to get an offer in his preferred school. The staff are very supportive and I highly recommend this school for anyone interested in quality teaching!

My two daughter’s have been attending weekly tuition sessions for a number of years. They have flourished from the support received and are both working at greater depth in English and Maths now. The centre is extremely well organised and managed by Mr Mahmood. His teachers provide a very high standard of teaching and support. My eldest daughter did exceptionally well in the exams for the Nottingham Girl’s High School this year and was coached for the exams by tutors at the centre.

A great place to send your child, they teach in a very proffesional manner and will support your child according to the childs needs and ability. When ever my child has struggled at school in a certain subject or a paticular topic he always goes back and tell the staff at the tuition center, where they then help him exactly where its needed. He thoroughly enjoys going and has shown a lot of improvment in his studies.

SLASA tuition centre is very welcoming to all kinds of people and the teachers there make sure to offer you enough help to boost your grades to your highest.

My child has been attending this tuition centre for quite some time now and she has improved her grades drastically from being a 3/4 in science to now being a 7 and I feel like the teachers here at SLASA have really helped her boost her confidence and skills during her GCSE’s.

During these unpresidented times home schooling has been very difficult, my child had fallen behind quite abit during the first lockdown and that is when we decided we need this extra support. After a lot of research finally we were introduced to Slasa and thank god for that. Ever since he has started attending that not only is he happier in his studies but his results have improved a lot more. My daughter is only 8 and she started attending the tuition centre early this year, since then and now she has made a lot of improvement in her work and that is very pleasing to see.

They are very proffesional and friendly towards the children and parents. They are not only teachers but also the childrens friends, due to this my daughter is always very keen to go to her next class. This is the kind of thing we want to see. The teachers at SLASA make sure that the students who attend the tuition centre learn new topics every week and also provide help with any certain topics that the students may be doing at school. This is really helpful for our children who attend school and may be struggling with ( SAT’S, GCSE’S or even A LEVELS). Overall the students learning and skills academy is a really supportive and helpful place for children to go and achieve the grades that they deserve!

The teachers really help the students understand the key topics that the children may need to know for the year they currently attend. The teachers make sure to secure a good understanding between the students and themselves so that the students feel comfortable with new topics that they learn.
